Posting Runaway with Faye

Yesterday, I posted the first two chapters of Runaway with Faye on Inkitt.. And today, I remembered I have a Royal Roads account that exists, and decided to post it there as well. The only problem with Royal Road is, they take time to approve stories. And if you've posted a story somewhere else you have to put a note in the description of the story on the site you posted it on. Very understandable and smart, honestly. I did that though, so hopefully there won't be any problems with approving it. I might start posting future stories there first to avoid having to do that, even though I never use it and I don't even think anyone's ever read the one story I have on there. (Then again, the site's audience apparently favors fantasy so maybe RWF will have better luck than Russell and Sal did.) Also, I made some minor changes to the story here and there. Nothing major, and most of it is in the earlier chapters. I'm probably going to replace the chapters on Wattpad and Penana with these updated versions.

Anyways, I plan on posting two chapters a week. I haven't decided what days, but this will mean I'll have the entire thing posted on Inkitt (and probably Royal Road) by the middle of September. By then, its sequel should be either ready, or close to ready, to being ready to post. Actually, that time of year would probably be the perfect time to post it, because the story takes place in November! Okay, I'm going to aim for the goal of posting around then. Maybe October. There's a Thanksgiving-related scene in it and it would be kinda neato to have that scene get released on the week of Thanksgiving... I can't believe I up and made this decision in the middle of writing this post! (Assuming I don't end up making a major change that leads to me deleting the scene altogether. But that probably won't happen because it's actually very relevant to the story. Plus it was very fun to write!) Actually, I just checked and the scene is all the way in chapter 20 so maybe I will have to post it in, like, late September. (The stars really are lining up perfectly with this.) That goal is very reasonable for where I'm at in the editing stage.

Yes. I have made the decision in the middle of writing this blog post. The sequel will be posted in late September!

Update: It's now been approved on Royal Roads as well!
